Local Priorities Violence against women and girls Update

I wanted to provide an update regarding Violence against women and girls, which members around this area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the Met Engage priority survey.

On 26/06/2026, a male was arrested in relation to an ongoing investigation into an allegation of Non-fatal Strangulation against a former partner. The male was arrested by Elm Park SNT ward officers, with the assistance of officers from Cranham SNT. The male was transported to custody in order to be interviewed regarding the matter.
